Roster Moves

With all of the injury news lately, it’s good to have something positive to report.  Four-time Pro Bowl selection Willie Anderson has reportedly agreed to a three year-$11 million contract after being cut by the Bungles.  The 33 year old will also receive a $1.67 million signing bonus.  The offensive line has played fairly well in the preseason but Anderson brings twelve years of experience with him to a young, inexperienced line.  It will be interesting to see how the line shifts since Adam Terry currently resides in Anderson’s position at right tackle.

The team also re-signed cornerback Evan Oglesby who was recently cut by the Cowboys.  Oglesby spent two years with the Ravens before heading to Dallas last year.  To make room, Anwar Phillips was released.
