Steelers rookie running back Rashard Mendenhall learned a valuable lesson after suffering a season ending shoulder injury last night: don’t wake up a sleeping giant.  Mendenhall was pummelled on a vicious hit by Ray Lewis which instantly fractured his shoulder.  Earlier in the week, the rookie sent a text message to Ray Rice bragging about how he intended to run all over the Ravens defense.  Looks like karma caught up to Rarshard, along will fellow Steelers right guard Kendall Simmons, full back Carey Davis and linebacker Andre Frazier who were all injured during the game.
