My Take on Ravens/Browns on Sunday

The Ravens will begin their three game road trip.  On Sunday, they travel to Cleveland and to take on the Browns.  In order for the Ravens to be successful, here is what they need to do:
Pressure Derek Anderson: During Week 2, the Ravens did a fantastic job of pressuring Derek Anderson and forcing him to [...]

Williams Placed on IR

The Ravens suffered a big blow to the offense today as Demetrius Williams was placed on injured reserve.  He hasn’t had a huge year but it’s all hands on deck for the Ravens offense.  It was hoped the the 70 yard TD he caught against Oakland would be the spark he needed to get it [...]

Samari Rolle to Return this Sunday?

There is a stong chance that pro bowl cornerback Samari Rolle could be on the field against the Browns this Sunday.   Samari Rolle hasn’t played in five games after recovering from neck surgery and nursing a shoulder injury.  With the recent knee injury to pro bowl cornerback Chris McAlister, this come as possibly good news [...]

Vote Joe Flacco for Diet Pepsi Rookie of the Week

On Sunday against the Raiders, Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco completed 12 of 24 passes for 140 yards and one touchdown. Flacco also had one rushing touchdown and a 43 yard reception.

Big Steve’s Jackass of the Week

This weeks’ honor goes to a big crybaby who does nothing but complain about EVERYTHING that doesn’t go his way and needs to grow a set (think about that one, Ravens fans):
Kellen Winslow

Kellen Winslow recently made comments regarding the Cleveland Browns that no one from the front office visited him when he was in the hospital when he had [...]

Cheers and Jeers for Ravens/Raiders

Ravens 29        Raiders 10

The Ravens captured their 100th win at home against the Oakland Raiders yesterday.  Ironically, the Ravens won their first game in franchise history against the Raiders back in 1996 at Memorial Stadium.  Overall, a fantastic day for the Ravens as they improve their record to 4-3, one game back of the Steelers, [...]

My Take on Ravens/Raiders This Sunday

Ravens fans, it’s time to build on this new found momentum that we have. This Sunday, the Ravens welcome in the Oakland Raiders at 1:00 in Baltimore. In order for the Ravens to be successful against the Raiders, here’s what they need to do:
Defense Wins Championships: The Oakland Raiders will be facing one of the [...]

Bounty on Hines Ward and Rashard Mendenhall?

According to Ravens linebacker/defensive end Terrell Suggs, there was a bounty during the Monday Night Game for Steelers WR Hines Ward and RB Rashard Mendenhall.

Relax, Dog the Bounty Hunter, not THAT kind of bounty
During the “2 Live Stu’s” radio show in Atlanta (who constantly owns that ass clown Skip Bayless in “1st and 10″), Suggs was [...]

Big Steve’s Jackass(es) of the Week

There are once again multiple distinctions this week. Our first honor goes to someone who got what was finally coming to him:
Hiney Ward
(credit to that name goes to our friends at BMoreBirdsNest.com)

This little 6-year old school girl, who really enjoys skipping on the football field, finally got what was coming to him as he [...]

Terrell Suggs: AFC Defensive Player of the Week

Ravens linebacker/defensive end Terrell Suggs was voted AFC Defensive Player of the Week.
During last Sunday’s game against the Miami Dolphins, T-Sizzle racked up seven tackles, one sack, and one pass deflection. He also returned an interception 44 yards to “the crib” as he says.
Suggs is another shoo-in for the 2009 Pro Bowl this year. Congratulations [...]
