Bounty on Hines Ward and Rashard Mendenhall?

According to Ravens linebacker/defensive end Terrell Suggs, there was a bounty during the Monday Night Game for Steelers WR Hines Ward and RB Rashard Mendenhall.

Relax, Dog the Bounty Hunter, not THAT kind of bounty

During the “2 Live Stu’s” radio show in Atlanta (who constantly owns that ass clown Skip Bayless in “1st and 10″), Suggs was asked if they did in fact have a bounty out on Mendenhall and Ward.  Suggs replied “definitely”.  He went on to state that Hines Ward was a “dirty player and we have something in store for him”.

The NFL was intrigued by these comments and are currently investigating the situation.

On Wednesday, Suggs clarified his statement saying that “there wasn’t any bounty,” Suggs said, according to the newspaper. “He (the host) asked me if there was a bounty and I just said I’m going to keep a watch on the guy.  He (Ward) broke some guy’s jaw last week, and he tried to cheap-shot (on Jarrett Johnson).  He has also cheap-shotted Ed Reed. We’re just going to be on alert the next time we play him.”

No one knows what’s true or what isn’t true with this statement, but if it is true, Ray Lewis collected on that bounty against Mendenhall.  Mendenhall ran into Lewis during the game and separated his shoulder.

I don’t approve of hurting someone unless they deserve it and Hines Ward deserves it.  Hiney, watch your back when you come to Baltimore, cause you are going to have a big target on your back.  Of course, you weren’t a factor in the Monday Night game, so you won’t be a factor in December.
