Battle of the Beltways gives Baltimore a Win over Washington

The Ravens victory over the Redskins had fellow co workers between Washington DC and Baltimore talking smack for weeks about what team in Maryland was better, the Ravens of Baltimore or the Redskins who play in Landover? It is a shame the game is only played every 3 seasons as the week leading up to the game had a playoff atmosphere for fans in the area. Men and women harassing their co workers by predicting unsought of scores dropped in the office more then once the last week.  Heckling jokes, unusual jabs here and there and even nose to nose on a score prediction but when all was said and done,it was all in fun.

It’s highly unlikely this game takes place for another 3 season due to conference and division schedules unless of course the two teams make it to the Super Bowl the same season in a season or two.  That would almost take a Syzygy to happen for that to take place a Redskins and Ravens Super Bowl. A Syzygy is described in definition as an Astronomical word used to describe three bodies, such as The Sun, Moon and Earth when they are in line with each other.

The game last night provided this fan feeling happy with a Raven win as the Ravens jumped on the Redskins early 14-0.  The night was a display of Ed Reed talents as he picked off two passes made several hits and caused a fumble in which he picked it up and accidentally mooned walked into the end zone for 6 points.  The Ravens won the game 24-10 as Baltimore fans heckled Washington fans on the way out of the stadium one wanders when will the Redskins be back to Baltimore?  Hopefully it wont be another 20 or 30 years…………..
