Today at a press conference in Tampa, Florida, site of Super Bowl XLIII, Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco accepted the Diet Pepsi Rookie of the Year Award. Although he did not receive the AP Rookie of the Year, the fans of the NFL recognized Bazooka Joe for his incredible rookie year with this honor.

At a press conference this afternoon, the Baltimore Ravens officially announced that linebackers coach Greg Mattison would step in as the new defensive coordinator. This change takes place weeks after former Ravens defensive coordinator Rex Ryan accepted the head coaching position with the New York Jets.
